Hi! I'm Madeline/Madi, an Annapolis-based wedding photographer. I’ve pretty much always had a camera, paintbrush, clay, or Prismacolor in my hand but I’ve been doing it professionally since 2018. So how did I land on photography? It was the best way to combine my love for people with my love for art. My whole life has revolved around art in some way or another, but I needed to find a way to tie that in with how much I genuinely love connecting with people. TLDR: my dad went to art school and my mom’s first degree was in psych, so I guess it checks out.
I got into this field because I really believe in the value of photographs that turn into heirlooms. The joy my family and I feel flipping through old Tupperware bins of photos is always in the back of my mind when I’m invited into someone’s story. My goal is to capture how a wedding day feels just as much as how it looks, so that you can relive it for the next 50 years. I use a mix of guided and documentary styles, switching between the two based on what the moment calls for. That blend helps create a laid-back, natural experience for anyone in front of my lens and makes every image look as effortless as it felt.

Travel has always been one of my greatest joys, and I never take for granted that this career allows me to experience the world while documenting such meaningful moments. Exploring new places continually inspires the way I see beauty, connection, and the stories I tell through my photographs, and I’m endlessly grateful its such a large part of my life and career.
